About the project
We are looking for a skilled SAP BASIS consultant to join our SAP COE team focused around the delivery and support of SAP Products. We have a number of SAP based initiatives and you will be responsible for the delivery and support of a range of outcomes and activities ensuring high quality SAP based delivery. The ideal candidate will also have strong hands on expertise.
Your responsibilities
SAP Basis administration experience of SAP component implementation/rollout/support projects and responsible for the management of small SAP environment
Manage the SAP technical installation, configurations, and support for functional teams (SAP S/4H, Solution Manager, ECC, BW and HANA)
Good Infrastructure awareness (Virtualization, Storage, Middleware, OS Platform etc..)
Cloud Based Deployment Experience and awareness for running SAP systems (preferably on Azure)
Backup/Recovery/HA/DR Technologies and Processes
Undertake the overall BASIS support and maintenance activities ensuring all SLAs for system reliability, availability and performance are achieved
Support internal and external ERP audits. Maintain operation and technical documentation
Working with Internal IT staff & Business stakeholders
Understand current/future SAP Technical Roadmaps
To provide out-of-hours support for major incidents, working in conjunction with System Integrators/Hosting Partner
Our requirements
Skills and experience supporting SAP S/4H, Solution manager, ECC, BW & HANA
SAP Basis Administration (including client/system copies, transport management, backups/restores, client copies, batch scheduling, interfaces etc..)
Linux administration
HANA DB management
SAP Fiori Administration
Solution Manager knowledge (Especially CHARM)
SAP BTP Management
SAP print management experience: design and configuration
Trouble shooting and root cause analysis
SAP performance tuning experience
Disaster Recovery scoping, design and testing
SSO implementations
Clear and concise documentation creation
Good problem-solving skills with a desire to investigate and search out ‘best fit’ solutions to resolve the problem
SAP Authorizations experience
8+ years of experience in SAP BASIS
Good communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
Hold SAP BASIS certifications (preferably latest SAP NW/HANA DB) or any Cloud certifications in appropriate technical areas
A progressive approach to SAP implementation and adoption of new SAP technology
An understanding of the SAP roadmap and industry trends
