About the project

We are looking for experienced SAP Basis Project Manager who in addition to technical responsibilities (60% of the time) will be also Presales SAP Basis Consultant (20% of the time) and Project Manager Consultant (20% of the time).

Your responsibilities

  • Delivers solutions or SAP infrastructure services, such as installations, migrations, upgrades in a defined project, using sound technical capabilities

  • Develops and maintains solutions or infrastructure, ensuring compliance with the relevant standards

  • Works with users to capture requirements and peer reviews design specifications

  • Collaborates with the Sales and Delivery team to plan and execute business development strategies using creative techniques such as Design Thinking.

  • Interacts with prospective customers through executive meetings, discovery conversations, solution demonstrations, executive presentations, and follow-up discussions

  • Designs, builds, tests and deploys SAP technical solutions

  • Monitors SAP Basis team workload, manage project budget

Our requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field of studies

  • Experience and knowledge of SAP R/3 basis administration including system installations, upgrades, system migrations, back-up/recovery, performance tuning, system monitoring

  • Thorough understanding of system operating environments and database management including UNIX, Linux, AIX, Windows, TCP/IP and ORACLE, SAP HANA, MS SQL, MaxDB

  • Good understanding and knowledge of one or several of the following SAP products: R/3, S/4HANA, Content Server, SAP PI/PO, BW, Portal SAP Fiori, Enterprise Portal, Gateway, Solution Manager, HANA

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, proactivity to identify potential problems in Customers SAP environment

  • Deep understanding of business environment and IT processes (ITIL)

  • Fluent in English

  • Must have Hands on experience in Proposal writing, RFP, RFI, RFQ and Bid Management.

  • At least 2+ years in SAP project management area

  • Demonstrated ability to scope, structure and manage low- to medium scale, medium complex projects with delivery mixes on time, on budget and within quality criteria that maximized business benefits for customers
