Your responsibilities
- As part of the SAP BI Analytics Solution Team you will have responsibilities in the fields of development, maintenance, troubleshooting, and operations management of our central SAP Business Warehouse solutions
- Establish and improve BW Operations model
- Understanding the processes, needs and requirements of business departments to provide the best possible solution
- Consulting of IT departments working on specific SAP BW / Bl to ensure a consistent experience to the various users on the business side
- Establish and improve our BW Operations model (Changes and System operations)
- Provide First and Second Level Support for simple analytics and user handling incidents
- Develop SAP Programs and SAP analytics data models based on blueprints provided by HQ-IT contacts and performing regular usability tests
- Assure the integrative functionality of developed applications
- Ensuring that all developments are completed on schedule and according to the development guidelines
- Documentation of the developments
- Providing technical support of the system after it has been delivered
- Stay updated with the latest technological advancement and changes in the world of SAP development and adapting to these changes by self-training and research work
Our requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or comparable qualification with corresponding practical experience
- Experience in SAP BW development
- Experience in one or more SAP modules MM-PUR, MM-IM/WM, PM, PP, QM would be an advantage
- Understanding of code and script.
- Good oral and written communication skills in English
- Basic German skills would be an advantage
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solution oriented and structured, (self-) organized way of working.
- Capability to work well in a team-based environment as well as on their own
- Experience in ABAP programming would be an advantage
- Familiar with IT Service Management processes (ITIL Foundation desirable)
