SAP FICO Consultant
Work place: Gdańsk

As an SAP FICO Consultant, you will join our growing team of SAP professionals. You’ll provide advice and actively participate in all phases of on-going projects (plan, analyze, design, build, test, and deploy) and oversee daily support operations.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Actively participate in on-going and new projects within SAP FI-CO area,
  • Oversee support operations of Application Maintenance Team; review incoming requests, categorize and prioritize when needed,
  • Validate requirements and create the process and functional designs for new common solutions,
  • Guard the integrity of the solutions in scope; perform Fit-Gap analysis,
  • Cooperate effectively with IT Business Partners and Finance & Accounting Teams,
  • Cooperate effectively with other IT Teams,
  • Perform the analyses and impact studies, when new initiatives, projects or change requests appear,
  • Actively partner with and challenge stakeholders to continuously improve existing solutions,
  • Prepare and maintain related functional documentation and training materials in the  designated Knowledge Management Repositories,
  • Coordinate and provide training to end-users of SAP FI-CO components.

 

 Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or higher (IT/Finance/Economics or related),
  • 5+ years of relevant SAP FI-CO Support and Consulting experience, gained within some or (preferably) most of the listed areas: Fixed Assets, New General Ledger, Legal Reporting, Electronic Payments, and Electronic Bank Statement, SAP OpenText Vendor Invoice Management, SAP Payment Card Solutions, COPA, Profit Center Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Integration with Sales and Distribution and Material Management,
  • Proven experience of working with complex system landscapes and interfaces,
  • Ability to understand and interpret financial information,
  • Understand the end to end service and business impact from users’ perspective, not only the technical or functional components to ensure value-driven decision are made and the impact to the organization is communicated,
  • Develop win-win, collaborative relations that add clear value to all internal and external stakeholders,
  • Actively embrace and promote change, especially from a business perspective
  • English is the corporate language; another European language is an asset,
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize the needs of different projects.
  • Good time-management skills (ability to progress different topics concurrently),
  • Willingness to travel within Europe as for some of the projects a moderate level of travel might be required; depending on the situation and restrictions in Europe.
