    SAP Junior Specialist

    About the role:


    In this role you will be a member of Finance Solutions Management, a center of excellence for finance application management with locations in Zurich, Krakow and Bratislava. In total 30 team members (thereof 10 based in Krakow) successfully deliver Business Support for Zurich’s finance applications via timely issue resolutions, escalation, and resolver group liaison on a daily basis.

    As part of our team in Krakow, you will be focusing on master data management and configuration supporting following specialist areas

    • Delivery maintenance and support services via timely issue resolutions, escalation, and re-solver group liaisons on a daily basis, focusing on company master data and consolidation support processes during closing cycles per year
    • Subject matter expertise in specialist area within the support team and taking an active role in support team knowledge transfer
    • Working with stakeholders and management on continuous improvement of processes, tools and support infrastructure
    • Contribute to projects in the area of expertise


    • Responsible for the day-to-day provision of maintenance and close support for the respective specialist areas, including complex issue resolution
    • Analyse business requirements and impact on consolidation processes, while acting as first point of contact for stakeholders
    • Continuous process and system improvement in specialist areas
    • Projects/change: Provide input to associated projects where applicable

    Candidate’s profile:

    • 1-2 years of experience in an international accounting and reporting environment
    • Experience in SAP master data management /processes/ tools
    • Good analytical skills
    • Experience in accounting consolidation and financial consolidation process nice to have
    • Service oriented working style and attitude, including the ability to work well under pressure, having sound understanding of workflows and having the willingness to develop business and technical skills as well as scope of responsibility
    • Good communication skills, good command in English (C1), German language skills are an additional asset
    • Flexibility in working style and hours (especially during financial closing periods)
