About the project

Becoming a SAP SRM/ MM Consultant at Capita:

As a SAP SRM/ MM Consultant you will join a team of experienced specialists and support Capita’s existing implementation of SAP SRM & MM (ECC6.0 & SRM7.0) and Ariba Sourcing. You will work closely with the business to gather the requirements, and with other teams to deliver functional and fully integrated solutions.

Your responsibilities

  • Supporting of SAP MM & SRM (Procurement, Inventory Management, MRP)

  • Providing SAP/SRM/Ariba support and deliver a high level of incident management & resolution

  • Amending SAP/SRM Configuration to deliver the requirements

  • Liaising with other functional teams to ensure delivery of a fully integrated solution

  • Performing/managing Unit-, Integration- and Regression-testing

  • Creating Functional Specifications for bespoke reports and interfaces

  • Creating documentation to a high standard

  • Supporting Go Live activities & transition new processes to the service desk/support team

Our requirements

  • Organisational Integration

  • Integration with PS, SD & FI

  • Logistic Invoice Verification (including GRIR maintenance)

  • LMSW creation and execution

  • Inventory Management

  • Logistics Information Systems

  • Ability to quickly assimilate knowledge of a heavily bespoke, non-stock procurement system delivered using SRM, ECC & enterprise portal

  • Ability to analyse business requirements

  • Ability to adhere to the prescribed change management processes

  • Ability to create functional specifications for non-standard functionality

  • Ability to effectively report progress & potential risk to senior management

Optional

  • Understanding of SRM

  • Understanding of IDOCs

  • Certification preferred

  • Knowledge of Ariba

  • Experience of 3rd party Invoice Scanning & Verification software

  • Ability to understand & debug ABAP code
