Your responsibilities
- Design, document, implement, and maintain essential Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems for automated manufacturing equipment
- Interface automated manufacturing equipment with manufacturing execution systems (MES)
- Provide appropriate and timely technical advice on matters relating to SCADA systems and manufacturing data systems
- Providing engineering technical expertise to ensure the operational reliability of SCADA systems
- Work with automation equipment vendors to design/document equipment interface specifications
- Solicit and document Voice of Customer from manufacturing sites
- Collaborate with Process engineering to determine and provide process data to data historians at appropriate time intervals
Our requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of SCADA (GE iFix, Ignition, or similar) and control systems and components
- Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) like S7, Beckhoff, Allen Bradley
- Extended skills in MS Visual Studio (C#, VB)
- Experience integrating automated manufacturing equipment with plant Information Management Systems (IMS)
- Ability to effectively prioritize and plan activities, work on multiple concurrent tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to generate and communicate high level flow charts for process and data flows
- Good English skills in written and verbal form
- Ability to travel globally (25%)
