Your responsibilities
The Securities Settlements Team is within Global Operations and collaborates daily with Front Office, various internal Credit Suisse departments and external stakeholders from all over the world. The Poland team is currently looking for a Vice President to manage Securities Settlements teams within newly build structure. The teams support variety of products including Equity Derivatives, Fixed Income products, Repo Trades and Stock Loans. The role will oversee EMEA Securities Settlements teams covering such markets as: UK, Swiss and Euroclear Repo with direct exposure on CREST/SixSis and Euroclear.
Core Tasks:
* Manage the local unit, including coordination across related global teams to ensure completion of daily business and drive the units strategy
* Support the global location strategy – partner with the other global managers & teams on various initiatives to standardize processes, ensure proper execution of new business and project releases and fully functioning Business Continuity Planning
* Review KPI and KRI, ensure adherence to targets, mitigation of gap areas, and planning for / implementation of improvements to processes to increase capabilities & reducing firm risk
* Identification and mitigation of control and risk areas impacting the businesses supported. This includes building a “future proof” model which can adapt to changes to products, businesses and systems
* Drive efficiencies and automation of functions providing more bandwidth in teams while ensuring all requirements of business met
* Perform regular reviews and spot checks on Standard Operating Procedures & Process Maps for processes supported against our current policies and requirements, ensuring the alternative coverage sites for BCP are aware of changes and testing completed to ensure support
* Manage key issues and be key contact for Front Office- Trading Desks, Sales /Relationship Managers, and COOs globally
* Ensure full adherence with all regulatory and audit requirements of related business, included but not limited to UK PRA entities and CS EU entities

Our requirements
Experienced Manager in Investment Banking Operations (or other related Bank Functions) with >4 years of direct line management of 15+ staff
Proven track record of managing deployments and working with global counterparts
Ability to develop performing teams with varying ranges of experience as well as build and sustain a new structure
Evidenced support and contribution to strategic projects and planning with global impact
Outstanding communication skills in working with individuals at all levels of business line
Ability to manage work and make decisions under pressure, following procedures and policies, while working autonomously
Results oriented, hardworking individual along with strong attention to detail and issue resolution skills
