About the project

We are designing, developing, and delivering a complex software solution to meet the exciting and rapidly evolving requirements of the international energy- and utility industry. KMD Elements is a new and successful product in the market. We are live with our first customers and currently developing new functionality to support the next customers planning to implement KMDdelivered to customers across multiple market roles. We work in a modern cloud technology stack,

The key market advantage of KMD Elements is support for very flexible, complex billing models, customer communication and full customer lifecycle handling. The solution enables energy companies to promote efficient energy generation and usage patterns, supporting sustainable and green energy generation and consumption.

We are a team of 7 Architects leading and driving the architecture design and technology roadmap of our setup consisting of 11 full-stack development teams in Poland working to design, develop, deliver, and maintain KMD Elements.

The solution enables energy companies to promote efficient energy generation and usage patterns, supporting sustainable and green energy generation and consumption.

Your responsibilities

  • Working closely with architects, our platform team and technology leaders in our organization to help us ensure we follow up-to-date best practices for secure development and delivery of modern cloud software. You must be able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Collaborate with our Lead Solution Architect (based in Denmark) to operationalize the security rules and policy in our application and the way we work on it.
  • Be a key contributor to the continuous improvement and deep implementation of our risk-based security strategy for the product.
  • Take an active part in monitoring, controlling and documenting security-related activity and compliance.
  • Receive, assess, and act on information about vulnerabilities relevant to our technology stack.
  • Contribute to the quality of POC’s on new technologies with a specific focus on security characteristics and the “risk profile” of those technologies.
  • Drive initiatives to ensure we are identifying, prioritizing, executing and controlling our security-related tasks and obligations - based on our company security policy and rules and the standards and the legislation to which we must comply – including SCHREMSII, ISO27001 and GDPR.

Our requirements

  • You must have the desire to work with an ambitious team of architects who are informed and empowered to seriously support our business product vision and roadmap with the right technologies, standards and approaches to design, develop, deliver and maintain a truly competitive and modern cloud software application for the energy industry globally.
  • Have excellent English skills written and spoken, since we collaborate closely across roles and colleagues located in Poland and Denmark.
  • Have deep experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps and especially security configurations/settings and attributes in a containerized (AKS) setup.
  • Have experience with and motivation for documenting the security perspective on requirements for DevOps teams working on the design and development of new business functionality.
  • Understand cloud infrastructures and can guide and advice full-stack software developers as well as identify and raise issues we should discuss, analyze, decide, and act on from a security/risk perspective.

Optional

  • Have previously worked on large projects with multiple customer segments, distributed teams, a large share of new feature development and a strong focus on security and compliancy.
