Your responsibilities
- Perform evaluations of the answers provided on our Information Security Third Party Governance questionnaires. This will include data provided by the business and external vendors via our online questionnaire to determine regulatory and internal policy compliance of proposed vendor’s network and data handling environments.
- Conduct vendor contract reviews to ensure proposed terms meet current Information Security standards and perform evaluation of contract language to ensure proper XL Catlin security language is present. Must be able to negotiate language to agreement with vendors, if needed.
- Be knowledgeable about and provide education and awareness to XL Catlin businesses about all global data regulations including GDPR and NYDFS.
- Provide expertise and consultancy covering all aspects of XL Catlin's Information Security infrastructure and policies
- You will report to the Head of Information Security Contracts Review Team
Our requirements
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills are a must.
- Ability to manage process workflow, participants expectations, conflict resolution, and projects are critical to success.
- Verbal negotiation skills are a plus.
- Able to effectively work with and contribute to a close-knit team while also being a self-starter are critical to success.
- Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple reviews and tasks at the same time are essential.
- Research, and development skills in all areas of information security is essential. A detailed understanding of CISSP CBK, ISO 270001/2:2013 and associated Data Regulations is a plus.
- Understanding the security impact and implementation of the triad (confidentiality, integrity, and availability) on data networks and the appropriate risk model to present to business management are key ingredients to this position.
- Ideally possess a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or be able to obtain this certification within two calendar years.
- Be able to understand the risk associated with various technologies supporting the infrastructure and business and the necessary controls and countermeasures to enable the enterprise securely.
