Your responsibilities

  • Leading team of 10+ cybersecurity analysts, owning real-time Tier 1-3 responses to active security incidents where needed.

  • Leading a virtual security operations center, to ensure service delivery for clients

  • Driving continuous improvement to key metrics through process, system, and organizational refinements, and providing inputs to senior management regarding service development

  • Acts as a major incident coordinator on the security operations side.

  • Reporting to the service customers on serious incident status, ensuring that communications are accurate, timely and aligned with audience

  • Contributing to root cause analysis reports and accountable for any remediation actions coming from these reports

  • Managing SOC team both in operational terms (e.g. shift management) as well as long-term development (eg. career planning, mentoring)

  • Supporting other team members during commercial pitches of service to potential clients as service SME

  • Maintaining KPI and service metrics framework, including tools and techniques used to measure them

Our requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, cybersecurity or equivalent professional experience and knowledge

  • 3+ years experience in managing SOC with 24x7 operations and minimum of 10 people

  • 5+ years experience of working in an enterprise-level IT environment. Experience in a service delivery environment and understanding of security operations processes and workflow

  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and retain staff

  • Knowledge of cloud environments, with focus on MS Azure

  • Knowledge of SIEM systems, with focus on MS Sentinel

  • Familiarity with SOC automation tools, and case management systems (Jira, ServiceNow, Remedy etc.)

  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication and customer service skills

  • English and Polish (C1+) language skills required, other languages are plus

  • Security certifications are welcome

  • Strong organizational and conceptual skills

  • Ability to maintain focus in a high-pressure environment

  • Ability to demonstrate a high degree of flexibility, including flexibility in working hours to support employees and customers across multiple time zones.
