Over the next few years, GDS Poland will increase the number of IT professionals in its center to develop and support EY’s business and internal applications.     EY Technology team maintains and enhances EY’s IT infrastructure and works for our internal clients across the globe. You will work with EY locations, supporting our service lines and key business processes or be part a dedicated IT team handling cross-organizational initiatives and transformational projects.

    Job summary

    The overall purpose of the Security Vulnerability Remediation Manager (SVRM) is to coordinate the remediation of security driven risks and changes that require engagement across the three pillars within EY Technology (EYT). One of the key activities of the role is to establish a working relationship with various functions across EY Technology to facilitate efficient and effective response to large scale risks, including security challenges and the adoption of security driven change. Other opportunities to help Enterprise Workplace Technology (EWT) Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) to guide and shape the growth and maturity of EWT functions will also be available.

    As a member of the EWT GRC team, you are also responsible for ensuring EWT is maintaining a proactive risk culture and is appropriately responding to security-related risks. You will aid the organization in understanding the importance of making risk-aware business decisions by supporting risk and security education and reporting. You will also be critical to strengthening our risk and security position.

    Under direct supervision of the Global Remediation Lead is responsible for:

    • Managing EWT, Client Technology (CT) and Information Security responses to large scale risks and vulnerabilities
    • Engaging with appropriate technology representatives to plan a coordinated response across EYT
    • Prioritize technologies that will have greater impact to EY if vulnerabilities are realized
    • Identify opportunities to maximize remediation whilst minimizing risk
    • Facilitates the education of EWT and EYT leadership on appropriate mitigation strategies and approaches
    • Leveraging a matrix based team of geographically dispersed people to manage risk, drive improvement program and management reporting accurately and on budget

    Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

    • Degree at university level
    • English language skills - excellent written and verbal communication
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • At least 5 years of experience in an IT role, ideally within a professional services environment
    • 5+ years of project delivery and client relationship management in a technology environment
    • An ability to clearly communicate to both business and IT audiences
    • Proven track record of driving operational excellence and improving processes
    • An overall understanding of the business objectives of service lines and Core Business Services departments
    • Ability to lead projects and motivate others
    • Desirable certificates: ITIL v3 certification, ISO 31000, Project Management PMI or equivalent certification, CRISC Certification
