Your responsibilities

  • We are looking for proactive leader who will be responsible for the development and implementation of the marketing strategy and annual marketing plan in Central Europe organisation. Seeds Marketing Head will design and drive customer leadership initiatives, establish sound Portfolio Management strategies and directions as well as lead and develop the marketing team, providing marketing leadership and expertise to the wider organisation.

  • To define and implement the annual marketing plan in close connection with the sales team, within the agreed Marketing budget and in coordination with regional marketing activities

  • To drive the marketing and business planning process across all the relevant crops and stakeholders for the Business Area

  • To coach and lead an effective marketing organization (marketing specialists, product managers and technical experts) in order to build and execute impactful campaigns through the commercial organization; to propose reactivity plans needed to deliver on the business objectives

  • To organize and coordinate the development of the 5-year plan to take advantage of business opportunities and clearly define key strategies

  • To lead the delivery of an integrated marketing communications strategy to communicate with all stakeholders, setting directions related to A&P, customer touchpoints, communication mix, and monitoring execution

  • To influence digital strategy within the organization in terms of its impact on structure, culture and strategic marketing plans and to lead the embedding of digital capability into the marketing strategy to the benefit of the customer

Our requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in agriculture, business studies/marketing or equivalent

  • 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role within agricultural industry or similar

  • Experience in seeds business (preferable) with marketing experience in portfolio, communication, and customer marketing

  • Strong knowledge of marketing and technical development in an international organization

  • Ability to balance long-term vision of market potential, evolution, business opportunities – especially in digitalization and customer experience with short-term execution

  • Demonstrated ability to lead changes and create collaborative winning team mindset in marketing and beyond

  • Demonstrated ability to significantly grow business results and brand recognition

  • Ability to work in cross-functional and multinational teams in order to achieve strong enterprise results

  • Agile in interacting with stakeholders, partners, officials, and industry players

  • Strong attention to seeds business critical KPIs for commercial execution and remediation plans when needed

  • Open-minded and technology-oriented

  • Fluent English
