Manage key day-to-day aspects of Search Engine Marketing such as budgeting, reporting & optimization of campaigns
Partner with Local, Goods and Getaways Product and Business teams to identify opportunities to grow the SEM channel while supporting key business priorities
Analyze marketing campaign performance data to identify, prioritize, and execute on opportunities for improvement in marketing effectiveness
Create and execute initiatives with search vendors (such as Google, Bing & Oath) to grow the channel
Analyze and communicate marketing performance to local and global stakeholders
Work closely with the marketing organization to support new initiatives through SEM
Work closely with Groupon’s Search Marketing Product and Engineering Teams to define products to enable operations within the team
Improve business process and workflow automation
Bachelor's degree in a related field
2+ years Search Engine Marketing experience
Experience with Excel and capable of manipulating data in order to perform both high level and more granular analysis. This includes familiarity with VLookups, Pivot tables, and other such functionalities
Experience with SQL would be an advantage
Experience with search bidding tools and platforms
Resourceful problem-solver with ability to excel in an ambiguous environment
Has relentlessly high standards
Ability to prioritize workload and deliver results against multiple deadlines in a fast-paced setting
Strong attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written social skills with experience reporting business to senior management
Proven analytical and quantitative skills, and an ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, drive rationale, discover root causes and identify opportunities
Analyze and report on performance metrics of digital campaigns and set up test plans to improve the campaign performance
Demonstrated execution capability with highest standards in a rapidly evolving business
Experience in audience segmentation and targeting
Ability to work 12noon-8pm Warsaw time to ensure sufficient overlap with teams in NA

To help us on this mission, we are looking for a Search Engine Campaign Manager in our Warsaw office who shares our real passion for crafting a new evolution in local commerce.
The Search Marketing team is responsible for growing Groupon traffic from external search engine users and providing them better and more engaging experiences on the site in order to drive new customer acquisition and greater revenue for all of Groupon’s worldwide lines of business including Local Deals, Products, and Travel. We do this primarily through automated SEM and Landing Page Optimization technologies, deep data science driven bidding algorithms and agile content and link generation strategies. The team is a key component to implementing Groupon’s “Pull” strategy that is already transforming Groupon from its origins as a daily deal company to an ever present source for customers to discover their own cities or to discover the world through travel.
In this position you will drive Search Engine Marketing for Groupon globally. You will operate the systems and execute the processes that power SEM. You will work directly with Local, Getaways and Goods GM and engineering teams on overall strategy and usability, conversion and SEM factors. You will be responsible for reporting the business metrics of Search Marketing to various business leads throughout the organization. Partner with key teams such as marketing finance, marketing analytics and the regional marketing leads to move the program forward. Ultimately, you will ensure that search engine marketing executes optimally and serves as a huge catalyst for Groupon’s bold annual growth plans.
