Your responsibilities
Ensure timely update of books of accounts as per the relevant GAAP
Participate in the monthly close of Franklin and its subsidiaries, including preparation of monthly accounting entries, account ledger reconciliations, variance analysis etc.
Investigation and resolution of accounting differences, including working with other stakeholders
Implementation of best practices within the Corporate Accounting team
Ensure technology is utilized in consistent, efficient manner and take part in optimization, automation and digital innovation projects
Provide support for the implementation of new accounting standards
Central point of contact for questions from key stakeholders
Provide support for year-end audit related issues and financial statement preparation, as required
Participate in team meetings to understand needs of the Corporate Accounting team, the wider finance function and the business
Take part in cross-functional collaboration to enhance accounting, control, financial and operational support
Understand how the business works and the upstream and downstream activities that impact and are impacted by Corporate Accounting and the wider finance function
Perform all other job related duties as requested
Our requirements
University degree in Accounting or in a related field (e.g. Economics, Finance)
A minimum of 3 years related experience in similar department
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Analytical skills and strong attention to detail
Excellent computer skills (MS Office applications)
Team working skills
Ability to maintain flexibility, to plan and organize tasks, and schedule work to meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills

What is Corporate Accounting Team responsible for?
Corporate Accounting are responsible for producing the books of account for Franklin and its subsidiaries on a global basis.
On a daily basis you will work with other members of the Corporate Accounting team globally, to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the execution of Franklin’s accounting processes. You will also perform monthly, quarterly and annual tasks to assist in the completion of Franklin’s financial statements and other reporting. In this role you will also provide day-to-day support to the Corporate Accounting managers to ensure that deadlines are met and to provide proactive, value added assistance to the Corporate Accounting team globally.
You will have the opportunity to participate in various optimization and automation projects, as well as implementation of new financial systems.
