Your responsibilities
Managing and supervising the daily operations of the accounting department,
Responsible for carrying out effectively the accounting activity of the company in accordance with the legal provisions,
Preparing tax calculations (VAT, CIT) and timely reporting to the Tax Authority, GUS, and NBP reporting,
Preparing statutory financial statements and monthly closing periods,
Managing contracts with lawyers and cooperation with auditors,
Updating and implementation of accounting procedures,
Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Reporting ad hoc financial analysis
Local ambassador of ERP implementation
Accurate and timely recording of any documents affecting the company's assets and operations;
Monthly preparation of the profit and loss account, balance sheet, month closing and summary of costs,
Preparation of all regular internal and external financial reports,
Maintaining reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts and related analysis,
Contact with international colleagues in English
Our requirements
Degree: Master degree in Finance / Accounting
Min. 3 - 5 years of experience on a Chief Accountant position in an international company
Audit experience in an international company will be an asset;
Experience in ERP implementation is a plus
Good knowledge of accounting issues (POC revenue recognition), national legal and tax regulations,
Must be eligible to work in Europe without VISA sponsorship
You are a team player and a positive attitude
You have a proactive approach and strong ownership of responsibilities and are highly organized and flexible
You thrive in organizations that adapt and evolve
You work independently, have excellent organizational skills and you work with a high degree of accuracy
You have strong interpersonal skills. You communicate clearly
Multilingual: Fluent in English, written & spoken
