    Senior Accounts Payable (French)
    Location: Kraków
    Ref No: AP/SeniorAccountant/12/2018

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Review, verify and book invoices, T&E reimbursements and other related documents,
    • Process payment requests,
    • Deliver excellent results as per agreed Service Level Agreements
    • Take initiative to review process updates for defect free implementation,
    • Perform required audits on the invoices processed and wherever applicable to eliminate any discrepancies and incoherencies,
    • Establish and maintain effective relationship with customer business areas and identify areas of improvements in service,
    • Understand the impact of the Accounts Payable process on the HSBC’s reputation
    • Comprehend accounting principles and finance requirements and adapt them to the AP processes, demonstrate knowledge of processes, procedures and escalations matrix
    • Prepare reports for all stakeholders as per requests
    • Work on the feedback provided in specific and in general to strengthen the internal controls and avoid recurrence,
    • Assist the manager in identifying opportunities for process re-engineering / improvement and drive changes independently with minimal direction,
    • Create a repository of the process procedures, updates, circulars and ensure understanding and adherence.
    • Support for Team Manager


    • Knowledge of general accounting procedures, in particular AP and Payments process
    • Knowledge of HSBC Net or other payment system
    • Proficient in data entry and management, information management
    • Very good MS office skills,
    • 2-3 years accounts payable, and/or general accounting experience (preferred),
    • Experience in payments processes will be an asset,
    • Organizing and prioritizing skills,                                                                                    
    • Attention to detail and accuracy,      
    • Ability to present various data in understandable manner.
    • Problem-solving and judgmental skills,  
    • Ability to do Multi Task,
    • Knowledge of English and French languages.
