About the project
Wholesale / Impairment Reporting team within Risk department is responsible for maintenance and development of impairment reporting and simulations for IFRS-9 accounting standard, stress-testing, data analysis in credit risk. The role will work with the group or regional sub-teams and cooperate with the wider team in delivering BAU reporting and contribute to change initiatives. The role is responsible to provide high quality, timely and accurate, information, analysis and Reporting to support impairment calculation processes globally.
Your responsibilities
Maintenance and development of BAU credit risk management processes (IFRS-9 impairment, stress-testing) for regions and group (including monitoring and review)
Supporting impairment simulations, credit risk analysis and speed up the analysis process using ‘out of the box’ ideas
Promote a culture of control awareness and best practice across the impairment process
Support development of new impairment related / stress-testing analysis solutions using tools like SAS, Python / QlikSense, Tableau or similar
Ability to effectively work with global and regional teams in risk, finance and relevant transformation functions where needed
Our requirements
Work experience in financial institution of 5+ years
Bachelor’s degree n numerate subject or IT, e.g. mathematics/ statistics/ economics or equivalent experience; Master’s degree preferred
Previous experience in credit risk or Finance (preferably data analysis, stress-testing, modelling or IFRS 9)
Strong communication skills and out of box thinking is essential
Knowledge of data analytics tools (SAS and/or SQL and/or Python and/or R etc.)
Strong Excel skills
Business knowledge of credit risk will be preferred
Analytical thinking (ability to draw conclusions / critical insights from data)
