About the project

We are looking for Automotive Embedded Software Developers to work in safety critical automotive projects (steering, braking) in accordance with industry standards and regulations (ASPICE, ISO 26262) using proven tools and techniques (multi-core ASIL grade MCUs, classic AUTOSAR, certified C compilers, highly automated development pipelines, Vector tools, etc.).

Your responsibilities

  • Products development according to the definition of done

  • Analysis, review and interpretation of the software requirements based on the system requirements

  • Participation in the software architecture design together with system architects

  • Components detailed design creation and review (state diagrams, events diagrams, workflow diagrams etc.)

  • Component requirements definition (design for testability, implementation independent, unambiguous, consistent, accurate)

  • Implementation of AUTOSAR components and component interfaces

  • Configuration of AUTOSAR BSWs (communication, diagnostic, memory management) and RTE

  • Integration of AUTOSAR components

  • Development of test strategy on component level (positive/negative tests, equivalent classes, boundaries checks, fault injections)

  • Testing of implemented functionality on component level according to the test strategy

  • Ensure coverage metrics according to the definition of done

  • Support for integration and HIL testing

  • Participate in issues analysis and solving

  • Participate in safety analysis of components

  • Participate in validation and verification activities (reviews, metrics, traceability, MISRA, Polyspace)

  • Develop software according to the feature driven development process

  • Ensure software meets automotive standards in terms of reliability and safety

  • Ensure software implementation and testing meets software design expectations

  • Proactively participate in agile ceremonies (backlog maintenance, estimations, work breakdown, planning, daily's, reporting in JIRA)

  • Proactively keep communication with relevant stakeholders

Our requirements

  • Hands-on experience in embedded software development and testing (3+ years)

  • Strong hands-on experience in C (macros, basic data structures, algorithms, memory management, multithreading, networking)

  • Experience in micro-controllers / processors and their architectures

  • Understanding of communication protocols (CAN/LIN/SPI…)

  • Understanding of software development live cycles (waterfall, agile) and development pipelines (SVN/Git, Jenkins, test frameworks, etc.)

  • Hands-on experience with automotive grade MCUs

  • Experience in AUTOSAR BSW and RTE

  • Experience in In-vehicle networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, …)

  • At least understanding of A-SPICE V-Model and related processes

  • Understanding of ISO 26262 (or any functional safety equivalent, e.g. IEC 61508, IEC 62304)

  • Experience in ISO 29119-4: Test techniques (specification-based / structure-based test design techniques)
