Technologies we use
Identify root cause of both LSE and LSA daily transmission errors. Resolve shipments, invoices, order responses, cancellations and ILN errors while driving system and business process changes to eliminate those errors.*
LSE, LSA and AMA new customer implementations along with existing customer requirement changes to both EDI transactions and AS2 connectivity. Commonly includes requirement gap analysis, extensive testing and continuous contact with customers and third party providers to negotiate and advise deliverables. Creative problem solving often required to meet customers’ requirements.*
Regional IDoc error resolutions.*
EDI related SAP incident resolutions.*
LSE and LSA, AMA new customer & new store set-up.*
Maintenance and user requests for Catalogs (GXS, SPS Commerce, 1WorldSync) and Wholesale Vendor Sites (various customers and LeviLink).*

Training users on business processes (due to turnover/lack of knowledge transfer).
Regional VMI implementations.

Material Determination clean up.
Provide assistance to the Allocation Manager to enable the optimization of allocation and order fulfillment (regions).
Monitor allocation and delivery due to ensure results are in line with the business requirements.
Help ensure that the A/OF group maintains focus on balancing the priorities of the business and shipping schedules with capacities in the Distribution Centers.
Develop and contribute to performance reporting, both operational and management.
Collaborate and assist with global and regional initiatives.
Perform data analysis. Propose and implement actions to improve effectiveness and efficiency of the order fulfillment activities.
Partner with Sales Operations and Distribution Centers to improve workflow. Develop and implement strategies to ensure distribution center workflow more accurately mirrors sales priorities.
Learn and demonstrate competence with the daily order management and returns management activities.
Assist in generating reporting to key business partners with analysis including size selling, order reconciliation, product distribution recommendations.
Assist the Order to Cash team, performing order management activities, as needed.
Drive processes improvements and automation.
-BS or BA required.
-Experience with EDI systems, analysis, design, X12 and EDIFACT transactions sets.
-Knowledge of SAP (e.g.: T-Codes, IDocs and Data Flow).
-Customer Service, Order To Cash business processes.
-Experience providing direct customer support including root cause analysis, issue tracking, escalation and problem resolution.
-Aptitude towards understanding development tools, code management, testing and performance tuning.
Specialized Knowledge/Technical Skills:
-Proven knowledge of EDI and associated communication protocols.
-Familiarity with technical testing protocol and processes.
-Knowledge of the processes, practices and terminology of one of the following vertical areas: Retail, Manufacturing, Logistics, Planning and Allocation, etc.

-Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and complex projects; excellent project management skills.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with little direct supervision.
-Superior troubleshooting, problem-solving abilities, and root cause analysis.

Summary of critical skills:
-Experience with EDI messages reading / understanding – EDIFACT (PRICAT, ORDERS, ORDRSP, DESADV, INVOIC, SLSRPT, INVRPT, etc.) and X12 (850, 855, 856, 810, 860, etc.)
-Experience with gap analysis, mapping specifications preparation.
-Experience with SAP IDOCs, EDI t-codes, SAP EDI setup.
-Experience with EDI customers onboarding and leading new implementation projects – requirements gathering / gap analysis / mapping specs / testing / coordination with customers, business and technical teams (SI, PI) / post go-live support.
-General understanding of communication protocols, e.g. AS2, SFTP.
-Experience with daily support of OTC EDI processes (SAP EDI and mappings issue resolution, root cause analysis).
-Understanding of OTC business processes.

-Implement and support Wholesale and Vendor trading partners on mission critical Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions and ensure successful/timely flow of these transactions for both Levi Strauss Americas (LSA) and Levi Strauss Europe (LSE) and support AMA if applicable.
-To ensure critical business data flows in an accurate/timely manner for purchase orders, shipments, invoices, order response, cancellations, order changes, transportation, routing and price sales catalogs. This often requires extensive system knowledge and root cause analyses.
-Meet individual customer EDI and business requirements through implementation of industry standard ANSI X12 and UN/EDIFACT transactions.
Additional Scope Information:
-SAP set-up for customers in LSA and LSE, including SAP interfaces.
-Communicate with Customers at all levels (EDI Technical, Vendor Relations, Buying Office, and Operations) to ensure complete understanding of all business requirements.
-Extensive communication with internal partners (Customer Order Management, Merch, Sales, Customer Master, AR/Finance, SAP OTC and RTC, Customer Service Center IT, Transportation Managers, Customer Relations Managers, EDI Technical Team, Planning and Analytics, and Wholesale IT).
-Price Sales Catalogs maintenance to ensure wholesale customers can retrieve UPC, price and other required product information to order and sell our products.
-Approximately 80 - 90 % of units ordered flow through EDI, therefore, continuous monitoring and development are imperative.
