Your responsibilities

  • Must have a thorough understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) concepts.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and work collaboratively with a global community including user, architecture, development, and support groups.

  • Demonstrated ability to produce clear, concise, and accurate documentation detailing business processes and requirements.

  • Thorough understanding of use case development, test planning, and test execution.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills including written and oral communications.

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work on more than one project at a time with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations.

  • Ability to perform abstraction, modeling, and theoretical reasoning in the support, creation, and design of complex systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to produce clear, concise, and accurate documentation/training materials covering complex business processes in web-based tools.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.

  • Experience developing training material and curriculum is preferred.

  • Experience facilitating adoption of new system processes and capabilities.

  • Ability to facilitate requirement gathering workshops, working collaboratively with a cross-functional community including business, architecture, development, and support groups.

  • Ability to monitor and manage project execution and report status at agreed times intervals.

  • Experience with Altium Designer SWtime intervals.

Our requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent technical experience.

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a Business Analyst role or related technical field.

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience with PLM, preferably as PTC Windchill Solution Architect.

  • Experience in HVAC industry preferred.

  • Current technical knowledge and skills relative to business requirements and state of the art information technologies.

  • Prior experience with CAD Data Management in PLM and PLM-ERP process integration is preferred.

Optional

  • Knowledge in Value Stream Mapping and Business Process Hierarchy concepts are nice to have.

The PLM Business Analyst works with the business to analyze, prioritize, categorize, and document business needs. The position is responsible for detailing business processes and collecting data on challenges and pain points. The PLM Business Analyst assists the business with development and execution of user acceptance testing (UAT). The position is responsible for working with PLM Solution Architects to communicate business requirements.

This individual should understand the lifecycle of HVAC products, including the methods and practices used to design, develop, manufacture, and service those products.
