Your responsibilities
Build and own automated financial reporting and insight processes - owning best practice Power BI reports.
Be a subject matter expert for all things automated financial reporting with predominant focus on Power BI.
Data transformation, modelling and visualization.
Interrogate Oracle databases to join and transform data before consolidating in new tables on Microsoft SQL Server databases ready for use in Power BI reports
Write stored procedures and assign to refresh packages in SSIS
Work with the Financial Intelligence department to integrate financial data with customer, service, geographic and product level information.
Build suite of reports in Power BI with target users ranging from individual contributors to Executive Leadership Team and above.
Query official reported financial metrics data in an SSAS environment using MDX
Own granular geographic revenue reporting.
Liaise with senior members of staff across regional departments to standardize financial processes - foster an atmosphere of automation and financial insight.
Standardize reporting with a focus on UX to enable business teams to self-serve.
Our requirements
Demonstrable experience within financial roles.
Experience working with data visualization solutions.
Power BI experience essential.
Code stack: SQL, MDX, DAX and M.
Experience working with financial systems.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively.
High attention to detail & analytical mind set with the ability to translate large amounts of data into actionable information.
Ability to structure and convey ideas and information, both verbally and in written presentation form, in a concise, effective and persuasive manner to bring clear understanding to the target audience.
Ability to use advanced Excel functions.

The role
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to develop their career with the experience of working with a Global technology company, based in our Poznan offices. This is a hybrid role, you will be required to attend the Poznan office twice a week.
The core hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.30pm, working 40 hours per week.
As Senior Business Applications Analyst you will be responsible for building and owning automated financial reporting and insight processes, owning and managing best practice Power BI reports. You will interact directly with the leadership team and will provide insight and challenges to support in the development, agreement, and delivery of the regions KPIs.
