Sales Director

In your role as Sales Director / Business Development Manager, you are part of the Atos Telco, Media & Technologies Industry team, which is responsible for all sales and business development activities across the Benelux & The Nordics (including Russia and Poland) for this Industry. As part this team, you will be oriented on the Polish market and working in close cooperation with the other Sales, Bid team, Solution Architects in the practices and Atos Management on bringing the right digital and innovative solutions to our customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • To understand and be able to articulate customer’s key business objectives and challenges and be able to match Atos solutions required to support objectives and solve challenges at Senior Management (including C) level to win business
  • To translate business requirements into solid proposals, and to translate complex IT issues & solutions back into the business language of the client
  • To be able to assemble and lead teams inside Atos to help you win opportunity engaging people able to demonstrate depth and capability in Atos
  • Be accountable for developing business in territory and achieve or exceed set targets
  • Building and managing pipeline
  • To build key client relationships quickly utilizing network available
  • Focus on qualifying each opportunity continually from moment of discovery and work with Client Partners and Delivery Executives to agree what should be pursued or dropped
  • To qualify sales opportunity effectively and work well with practices closely to create relevant solutions promptly
  • To understand competitive environment and put strategy in place that out manoeuvres competition
  • Creation, identification and development of key opportunities
  • To be able to enroll Atos resources, either internal or external in support of sales opportunities to close new business

Who are you:

  • You hold a Bachelor or University degree in Business Administration, Business Economics, Technology or a comparable study;
  • More important is that you have over 10 years of experience in a commercial role and a proven track record of being able to develop new business with a value more than €10M;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Polish and English, any other language is an asset;
  • Have a proven affinity and knowledge of IT development;
  • Experience of navigating through internal governance and compliance within a complex matrix organization;
  • Competent in producing detailed proposals and written reports;
  • Competent in preparing and delivering winning presentations;
  • Create innovative solutions and be able to present these to large audiences;
  • A solid knowledge of IT Solutions for business benefit;
  • To be able to communicate Atos value effectively at all levels including C level;
  • To manage internal and external stakeholders effectively;
  • Ability to continually build trust, sustain it and motivate people internally and externally to support you;
  • Broad view of industry, competitors and other relevant industries;
  • Ability to innovate with people, solutions and process in a pragmatic way;
  • To be able to build rapport and win hearts and minds quickly
