Senior Buyer
The team you will be a part of

The Procurement team identifies researches and evaluates suppliers that meet the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply. Recognizes and evaluate sales, promotional campaigns, and other opportunities to secure reduced prices. Assesses supplier's products to ensure that they comply with specifications and meet the organization's quality standards.

This role in summary

As a Senior Buyer for compressors, you will be leading a strategic spend for the refrigeration category. This role is strongly connected to Refrigerator’s product strategy and innovation.
You will be required to partner with key suppliers, support global strategy execution, conduct operational activities in the EMEA region towards financial and quality targets. 

Your responsibilities will include

Supplier Management

  • For assigned portfolio manage supplier relationships
  • Be responsible for Procurement related system data entry & management 

Contract Negotiations

  • Provide data to support regional contract negotiations
  • Participate in global negotiations

Sourcing Strategy

  • Lead the connection with WH internal stakeholders to execute strategy 

Project management

  • Manage requests for quotations for new projects
  • Support project management team in project execution

Cost Reduction

  • Analyze supplier cost performance data 
  • Drive cost reduction projects

Financial reporting

  • Provide monthly financial reports for assigned portfolio
Minimum requirements
  • 2+ years of relevant working experience in procurement
  • Fluent English (written and spoken)
  • Strategic thinking skills
  • Master’s technical degree or degree in a related field
Preferred skills and experiences
  • International experience or experience in a multinational company
  • Strong organization and communication skills
