About the project
You will participate in an international project in the field of a platform for the management of virtual network functions in core networks of the world’s largest telecommunication companies. We work in many areas on a cloud solution for Samsung’s internal needs and virtualization of network functions based on OpenStack and Kubernetes. We also develop platforms, software, and infrastructure as cloud services, and we cooperate with many companies which use our services to build solutions for 5G networks.
Your responsibilities
Design, implementation and testing of new features for cloud-native platform services (e.g., databases, load balancers)
Writing high-quality C++ code for open-source and commercial projects
Triage, troubleshooting and resolving bugs reported by the support team
Active participation in the code review process
Collaboration with open-source communities
Collaboration with team members across the organization
Our requirements
Excellent programming skills in modern C++
5+ years of professional experience in software development
Experience with multi-threaded programming
Familiarity with software engineering principles and test-driven development
Familiarity with CI/CD workflow and tooling
Good knowledge of Linux OS
Advanced technical English skills, both in writing and speech
