About the project

Our Client is a leading global developer of software and hardware for the broadcast and film industry. The company delivers products and solutions that can be found in major broadcast facilities on every continent. They are already employing around 1500 IT experts in over 10 countries.

The project is about the development of compression products (like video encoders, transcoders, decoders etc.)

Your responsibilities

Working on server-based compression products (video encoders, decoders, transcoder, multiplexor e.t.c);
Maintaining software technical documentation.

Our requirements

5+ years of experience with C++;
5+ years of experience in embedded systems;
Experience with development and debugging of multithreaded & realtime systems;
Experience with Ethernet networking (Protocols & Programming);
Familiarity with x86 architecture;
Experience in Linux socket programming;
Structured, object-oriented design and programming techniques;
Fluent knowledge of English.

Optional

Knowledge of video standards H.264, MPEG2 and HEVC;
Knowledge of video transmission, container formats (Transport streams, MP4), demuxing & muxing;
Knowledge of tools /libraries like FFPMEG, GStreamer.
