    Senior Client Finance Risk Analyst

    Role

    We are seeking a Senior Client Finance Risk Analyst to join our Dentons Europe team. The holder of this position shall create a new credit control function within the organization and will be work independently, in collaboration with other departments, Partners and Top Management. Daily tasks of the Senior Client Finance Risk Analyst include credit analysis of new and existing clients, monitoring debt balances, being the client credit expert and advisor to the internal stakeholders, developing the relevant policies and procedures, suggesting and implementing improvements in processes.

    Responsibilities

    • Providing assessment of a client credit risk and recommending terms of credit and payment plans
    • Analyzing the overall credit exposure and minimize bad debt risk
    • Creating procedures and policies as well as creating and monitoring action plans that improve cash collection and reduce lock-up
    • Preparing opinion based credit reports and financial models based on fundamental analysis and market intelligence (D&B database and other)
    • Performing detailed financial analysis based on customer financial statements for development of a risk profile of a client
    • Monitoring outstanding balances and verifying compliance with credit limits
    • Communicating with internal and external clients, other departments and information providers in a professional, assertive and efficient manner.

    Experience, Skills & Knowledge

    • 4-5 years of professional experience in credit analysis on independent position
    • Very good written and spoken English is a must, other languages are an advantage
    • Obtained economic, accounting or finance university degree/qualifications
    • Analytical, client-focused and action-oriented personality
    • Accounting know-how and understanding of financial contexts
    • Attention to detail and delivering results in time
    • Team-oriented and flexible personality
    • Very good MS Office skills, particularly Excel and Word
    • Professional services experience (ideally legal sector)
    • Experience with IntApp and D&B database will be an advantage.
