About the project
This position is in KMD’s Digital Transformation Services (DTS) where we drive a full range of ITO and AMS services and projects across many technologies and domains. Organizing in line with KMD’s Service Business Strategy: “KMD wants to be the most attractive end-to-end IT service partner for focus markets Public, Energy & Utility and Life & Pension”. Our goal is to understand our customer’s business and to be their preferred end2end provider of IT solutions.
As part of our Cloud Service Line, you will play the role of Senior Cloud Java Developer in one of our enablement team in the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE). With a focus on enabling the Cloud transformation journey for our customers.
Your responsibilities
You will be part of a cross-functional development team of highly collaborative and skilled individuals (5 – 6 people).
Building cloud-native applications with containerized microservice, and assisting in application modernization of legacy systems.
As a team you will be breaking down requirements and creating a sprint backlog that you will develop test, and demo for the Product Owner each sprint.
You will also be responsible for ensuring that all deliverables are done, and potentially shippable functionality is delivered at the end of the Sprint.
Our requirements
You are an experienced Java developer with +4 years of experience in building containerized microservices on Kubernetes.
Familiar with Spring Boot, Scripting, Linux.
Wish to make a difference for our customers in their Cloud transformation journey.
Have experience with DevOps way of working and Scrum.
Have experience with implementing CI/CD pipelines.
Have experience with cloud services.
Hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science (or similar).
Hold Azure Developer Certificate on Associate level (or similar).
Are a team player.
Have good communication skills and care about attention to detail and accuracy.

Have experience with OpenShift and/or Kafka.
Have experience working in a global team.
