We are looking for a permanent Researcher/Senior Researcher in our AI Group working on exploring how information technology systems can evolve to manage and enhance modern life. The Division’s current activities are centred on the research & development of new AI technologies and their applications for advancing various vertical markets such as, for example, Engineering and Manufacturing sectors.
The development of new deep learning based computer vision techniques, with a focus of object detection in point clouds
Technical leadership and working closely with Fujitsu Global R&D groups, academic & industrial partners and government research institutions to develop the required technologies
Publishing in top academic conferences and submitting patent applications
Our requirements
Experience with one or more Deep Learning framework (PyTorch preferred) for Computer Vision applications.
High proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python preferred)
Ability to express ideas in proof of concept and production quality code
Adaptability, willingness to learn new fields and develop new skill sets
Optional
A track record of writing academic publications and/or patent applications
Experience with Deep Learning techniques for Point Clouds
Experience with or knowledge of Computer Aided Design
