Your responsibilities
Contribute to the establishment and continuous refinement of contracts as we move to as a service
Cooperate with group procurement in connection with negotiating and drafting different supplier agreements.
Resolving issues that arise in existing commercial relationships and handling pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries, through day-to-day advice.
Provide ad-hoc advice on various legal matters such as intellectual property rights, regulatory compliance, company law and various other areas of law.
Our requirements
Have a degree in law (cand.jur) or business administration and commercial law (cand.merc.(jur)) and have been practicing as an in-house counsel or as an attorney for at least 5 years
Have experience with drafting and negotiating complex contracts
Know the legal aspects of software as a service and IT outsourcing
Have excellent English communication skills, both verbally and in writing
Have a good understanding of commercial issues and are able to balance the need for sound business advice with the need for maintaining a high standard of legal advice

Job Description
To support our market units in Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific, we are looking for an experienced Senior Corporate Legal Counsel.
You will be working in Copenhagen, as part of our Group Legal and Compliance team. The team is responsible for providing legal advice on a broad range of commercial matters, with main focus on software as a service contracts with SimCorp’s customers, suppliers and partners.
Providing business oriented advice for different SimCorp stakeholders
SimCorp’s main product, SimCorp Dimension, is one of the world's leading investment management software solutions used globally by international financial institutions and equity funds.
SimCorp is going through a cloud technology transformation moving from selling software to providing everything as a service.
As our new Senior Corporate Legal Counsel, your main focus will be to support SimCorp’s sales teams in connection with new customer contracts, extensions of existing customer engagements and provision of professional services. You will work directly with the management and business of SimCorp, serving as lead counsel on strategic deals.
