Accountable for supporting the successful delivery of Data products through management of several Data work streams. Working with the Data product owners to deliver the agreed products and features. Helping the Scrum Master and Product Owners / team members to navigate change and standard IT processes and linking them with key resources outside of the data platform. Ensures the workstreams performance is monitored and reported to stakeholders.

Your responsibilities

Principal point of contact for delivery reporting and flagging risks and issues related to deliverables
Successful navigation of IT and change processes
Co-ordinating activity with security and networking teams
Forming relationships with other Technical teams to deliver on behalf of Group data
Working with the product owner to ensure that project deliverables are mapped into work assigned to the feature teams
Working with the Scrum Master to ensure that resources and activities are correctly aligned within the feature teams to safeguard continued velocity
Communicating progress to stakeholders and collating feedback where relevant, proactively managing risks, issues, dependencies and assumptions
Ensuring all Portfolio, Corporate and Data governance steps are followed
Short term budget planning and financial management of your assigned Workstream
Driving delivery mitigating risk, presenting solutions to hold time and budget
Leading in a matrix resource model, where the team is focussed on clear delivery objectives

Employer requirements

Previous experience including delivery of enterprise level Data and or BI solutions in relevant industries and the direct management of highly performant teams
Passion for Agile Project methodology, making it real and not just theory
Previous experience of the full software delivery lifecycle
Being skilled at budget planning and management
Excellent leadership skills in a matrix resource model
