About the project
For our Client we are looking for a qualified Senior Data Engineer (4-5 years of experience) with good knowledge of English and intermediate knowledge of German to join our IT team. Our client is providing consulting services and business intelligence tools for the healthcare sector. It is long-term cooperation. You will join an existing team.
Your responsibilities
Close coordination with Data Scientists and Stakeholders to understand and implement Data Infrastructure and quality requirements
Evaluation and Cconstant further development of the existing Data Routes and associated systems to increase efficiency, reliability and scalability
Identify bottlenecks, performance issues, or data quality issues and implement appropriate solutions
Mentoring and technical support for junior Data Engineers to help spread knowledge across the team.
Our requirements
Proven Data Engineering experience
In-depth knowledge of Relational Databases, preferably with MS SQL Server, Postgres or Exasol
In-depth knowledge of SQL and experience with Data Transformation Tools such as Dbt or SSIS
Expertise in developing ETL Pipelines and Data Modelling
Demonstrate programming skills in at least one language, preferably Python
Experience with Agile working methods (Kanban, Scrum) and with automated deployment processes (CI/CD)
Very good English skills (B2/C1) and German knowledge (A2/B1)
