About the project
In Cyclad we cooperate with the best IT companies and increase their potential in providing the newest technologies. Our client is innovative company, which creates AI products for business – especially medicine and pharmacy.We are currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer with analytical mind and practical experience in data modelling and developing data pipelines. This person will work onour client’s own Python packages powered by open-source ML libraries to develop clients’ products.

Your responsibilities
Developing data models in SQL to support our applications
Developing automated data pipelines in AWS (lambdas, Glue, step functions)
Optimizing database design for higher performance
Design, building, and launching of new data models and data pipelines
Implementing best practices in data engineering including data integrity, reliability, validation, and documentation and improving discoverability of data
Cooperating with other team members and managers to understand data needs
Our requirements
5+ years of experience in data modeling and ETL/ELT development
5+ years of experience in Data Warehousing
Proficient knowledge of Python
3+ years of experience with Cloud database solutions (Redshift preferred)
2+ years of experience in development and deployment highly efficient solutions using Lambda Functions, Apache Airflow, Python, Spark, and Glue
Extensive knowledge of database design principals and query execution plans
