About the project
As our Data Warehouse Developer you are responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data warehouse. On top, you are accountable to gather business requirements to meet business analysis and to ensure proper functioning of the Business Intelligence team. You are expected to document all implemented ETL’s, the structure, data sources and procedures. You are responsible for monitoring and reporting on data quality, investigating and troubleshooting causes of incompatibility between applications that collect and utilize the company's data.
Your responsibilities
- Collaborating with various teams across the company to align development work to enterprise data strategies
- Designing and implementing ETL procedures (Azure Data Factory) for intake of data from both internal and outside sources and ensuring the data is verified and its quality is checked
- Maintaining and developing data marts, data objects and data models
- Ensuring data integrity, performance of quality, and resolution of data load failures
- Carrying out monitoring, tuning, and database performance analysis
- Discovering new and creative ways to improve our day-to-day business with a focus on efficiency and scalability
Our requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- 2+ years of experience with Azure SQL DB, Azure Data Factory and related Azure services
- Experience working in reporting and analytical tools (best: Power BI)
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of data warehouse concepts
- Proficiency in ETL development
- Ability to design and conceive solution frameworks independently
- Outstanding organizational and effective time management skills
- Ability to obtain, analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skill
- Proficiency in English (both, verbal and written)
