Your responsibilities

The Senior SQL Developer will contribute to the development of innovative, complex workforce strategy data and web solution. The position will require daily interactions with business representatives and close collaboration with the development and testing team to provide end to end solutions. Maintenance, bug fixing and performance optimization will fulfill the task portfolio. You will be active member of cross-functional Resource Management Platform Scrum team which is demonstrating on daily basis how collaboration, partnership and team spirit helps in successful delivery of business value to end users and have full accountability and responsibility for own projects, tasks, and deliverables. The main focus will be on T-SQL queries and codes, but also some scripting exercises may be required.

* Collaborate with other developers to design, develop and implement data solutions

* Writing advanced SQL queries

* Maintaining data quality and security

* Collaboration between different departments to analyse business change

* Designing/delivering SQL based solutions

* Provide technical knowledge and subject matter expertise

The COO and HR Bespoke Software Solutions team is located in Wroclaw and consists currently of 8 passionate developers and testers focusing on delivering several global front-end application projects and some data and reporting solutions, winners of IT Poland Award for the best team in IT. We are a highly collaborative and solution oriented Scrum team, with key focus on delivering the value for our customers, teamwork, reliability, and innovation. The project involves the maintenance and enhancement of a Workforce planning tool and several other applications made in Angular and .net Core using SQL Server. Currently we are looking for a Senior SQL Developer to complete the team with unique skills for further expansion and grow of an internal data platform. Our requirements

We are looking for proven IT background with demonstrable experience in SQL development (at least 4 years)

You understand and troubleshoot complex queries and performance tuning is not a stranger for you.

Following skills and experience are expected:

* Outstanding experience in working with relational databases (preferably SQL Server) and in writing and understanding complex SQL queries

* Ability to communicate effectively in English. Be able to manage work well under pressure

* Good knowledge of any programming language (preferable C#, Angular)

* Solid understanding with ETL process and data integration

* Proficiency of the software development lifecycle and underlying processes with the flexibility in moving across different technologies to deliver solution as required by given technology stack. Willingness to learn these technologies

* Outstanding analytical problem solving with the ability to trouble-shoot issues on any component composing overall solution, implement root cause analysis, and drive resolution of reported issues with development and support teams

* Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives

Nice to have:

* Database DevOps approach

* MSSQL certification
