Your responsibilities
Managing and developing employees to drive accurate and timely consolidated management reporting
Supporting implementation and upholding of accounting and reporting principles for Maersk Drilling in compliance with IFRS
Ensuring knowledge of MD GAAP and the reporting policies is spread out in the organisation through training of finance colleagues across the finance organisation
Driving an efficient documented internal control framework and quality controlling on consolidated numbers
Managing and coordinating deliveries on consolidated annual reporting audit requests
Ensuring the consolidation system and master data structure from of functional standpoint supports the reporting structure and the business needs
Driving and prioritizing continuous improvement initiatives within AtR to support the standardization and development of the GBS Finance service catalogue
Liaising with external auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on controls and auditing processes/scope
Our requirements
Strong and proven leadership background (+8 years in similar position)
Excellent English skills (min. B2/C1)
Advanced insight in IFRS/US GAAP
Experience in delivering global services from another listed company with global operations
Good understanding of internal controls and risk management, e.g. US SOX compliance is preferable
Understanding data modelling and master data structuring and experience with Onestream, PowerBi is preferable
Strong knowledge and experience with process standardization and improvement
International mindset and experience in working in a multicultural environment with diverse employees, colleagues and stakeholders – all with different traditions, expectations and ways of working
Experience in navigating, working and succeeding in complex stakeholder landscapes
Service minded approach to query handling
Experience with international tax

In this leader role, your overall responsibility is to provide professional financial consolidated reporting for management to support and empower business decisions. Hence, ensuring quality financial reporting conducted in compliance with company guidelines, code of conduct, policies, procedures, controls and legal requirements is a critical element of your role.
As part of the leadership team you will work together to set the operational direction and to empower employees to solve problems and drive day to day activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
