    Regional Delivery Poland Center located in Warsaw and Lódź offers software development and maintenance services to DXC Technology customers all over the world. Poland Center focuses on Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence, Web Solutions, SAP R/3 and SAP BW implementation, Application Management, Quality Assurance & Testing, Business and Systems Analysis. Most of Poland Center employees hold multiple certifications from Oracle, Sun, Microsoft, SAP, OBI, ISEB, ISTQB, ITIL, CMMI, PMP and Six Sigma.
     
    We are looking for:
    Senior Delivery Manager with German
    Miejsce pracy: Warszawa
    Successful candidate in this position will be responsible for effective and efficient delivery of a major company transformation project in Banking and Finance sector. The transformation covers complete landscape of IT systems of the client with over 250 applications and includes development of new core business platform and migration of remaining system to MPC (Managed Private Cloud) as well as setup of effective maintenance organization. The project will be followed by long term support delivery for transformed client’s application set. Overall delivery is spanned across several teams in Europe and Polish team managed by the person in this position is responsible for application layer of the project.
     

    Job responsibilities of this role will include:

    • Assure overall timely and high quality delivery of Project and Service deliverables,
    • Coordination of onsite team of over 25 IT Specialists with outlooks for further extension,
    • Active engagement in process of recruitment and extending the team,
    • Cooperation with global teams to assure provision of effective and efficient delivery,
    • Build and strengthen relationships with customers, account and other delivery organizations,
    • Assure development and proper retention of technological and system specific knowledge in the team by utilizing and enhancing Knowledge Management System,
    • Timely provision of delivery reports,
    • Stimulate and drive Delivery Improvement Initiatives and Plans to continually enhance quality of service delivery as well as Customer and Account Satisfaction,
    • Identify and introduce any required changes to the support model and IT Service Management processes,
    • Identify and actively engage in promising business growth opportunities,
    • Assist in professional development of team members,

    We require: 

    • University degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.),
    • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in managing IT Projects or Services,
    • Proven track of record for successful delivery of large IT Projects or Services (or their parts with minimum 2M USD of total or annual value),
    • Proficient command of written and spoken English,
    • Very good command of written and spoken German,
    • Very good knowledge of Project Management methodologies,
    • Practical familiarity with ITIL framework confirmed by Intermediate level certificate or certificates,
    • Initiative and proved functional leadership,
    • Ability to learn fast and constantly improve knowledge,
    • Very good communication skills across multiple organizations, levels and cultures,
    • Team building experience,
    • Analytical and conceptual skills,
    • Creative approach to problem solving,
    • Willingness to research and learn new process, business frameworks & methodologies.
