    Brand Team - Marketing and Business Development

    Purpose of role

    The Senior Designer works closely with the Global Senior Creative Manager to implement our brand templates, to maintain brand consistency and to generate new ideas across both print and digital collateral materials by achieving visually creative and optimal solutions to support our firm’s marketing needs which consist of brochures, proposals, advertisements, campaigns, initiatives, events, digital marketing, apps and websites.

    This role also requires project and team management skills - which include managing client expectations and timelines as well as guiding and reviewing the junior designers’ work - to ensure high quality results that promote the firm’s marketing and business goals.


    • Works with Global Brand Director, Global Senior Creative Manager, Brand Managers, global creative team and internal clients (marketing services, business development, practice groups, sector groups, and offices) to produce high quality design that meets their requirements
    • Acts as brand ambassador across all channels and advises the internal clients (lawyers, leadership, marketing services, business development, support services and third parties) on the correct application of the firm's visual identity guidelines
    • Works closely with the global brand team to support the design process and to deliver project requests from conception to production on tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of client service and quality product
    • Supports desktop publishing requests in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop; and at times in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint (including PPT animations)
    • Adheres to the established brand guidelines, workflow and team management process
    • Works with Brand Managers to support project requests in different regions and time zones to meet deadlines and prioritises workload to ensure timely delivery
    • Adheres to all privacy, bar association, SLA or anti-spam control and any other legal requirements affecting marketing-related materials


    • Builds and maintains reliable relationships with internal clients and teams from around the world to ensure high quality service
    • Maintains professionalism when advocating for brand consistency and presenting new creative ideas
    • Contributes to the development of a strong, high-performance culture across marketing communities which positions the firm as an employer of choice


    • Supports the entire global creative team with daily requests from all regions
    • Supports key stakeholders with high-level and complex projects


    • Strong design software skills to perform daily tasks efficiently
    • Understands complex brand systems and enforces the correct application of the brand guidelines
    • Generates new creative ideas and turns ideas into comprehensive design solutions
    • Strong problem-solving skills, aesthetic/design skills and attention to details
    • Juggles multiple projects and meets deadlines
    • Manage client needs, be reliable, develop consistency and prove trustworthiness
    • Listens to criticism, follows directions and works collectively
    • Stays up-to-date with industry developments, tools and trends

    Experience Skills & Knowledge

    • An undergraduate or a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design
    • Fluent in both written and verbal English
    • 7+ years’ experience with a strong design portfolio (print and web)
    • Advanced knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop on Mac environments
    • Experience of template development and layout design in PowerPoint is a plus
    • Previous experience working in-house in a corporate or professional services environment preferred
    • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines


    • Hands-on experience implementing and maintaining complex brand guidelines and design systems
    • Delivers successful creative solutions from concept through completion
    • Ability to extract a creative brief from clients and to provide clear direction to junior designers
    • Technical knowledge of print and online production processes
    • Good communication skills to establish reliable working relationships
    • True team player
    • Great leadership and organizational skills in order to effectively manage daily workload, junior designers and deadlines
    • Understands graphic design principles and pays close attention to details
    • Excellent critical thinking skills being able to process and solve problems in a timely manner
