Your responsibilities
Understanding business requirements and acceptance criteria in the form of user stories, assessing the complexity of these and translate into implementable solutions and configurations
Ensuring the product design and implementation adheres to functional requirements and architecture standards
Analysing incidents in the area of integration, determining solution directions, instructing support partners in the DevOps team
Taking part in problem analysis for integration related issues including issues with platform hosting, connectivity amongst others
Owning and leading the support process improvements and procedure improvements, bring structural and strategic improvements quality, efficiency, stability, security
Advising Operating Companies, Programs and Product teams within and across portfolios and Functions on Integration related incidents and problems, answering questions about support procedures
Ensuring consistency of the overall integration platforms and keeps improving uptime of integration platforms, taking operational and strategic responsibility for the availability of the platform
Working with the Product Owner to understand, eliciting, analyzing, document and communicate program and platform/application requirements
Participating in the selection of new technologies, especially when it comes to "Ops" aspects
Providing guidance and coaching to other product team members on changes throughout the design process on the DevOps aspects
Identifying potential bottlenecks and their underlying causes that affect the product and proposes how to resolve these
Delivering working product enhancements with the allocated timescale and quality standards that minimize rework and aspire a zero-defect culture
Participating in all the team Agile ceremonies: daily Scrum meeting, Sprint Review, Sprint Planning, Sprint Refinement, and Sprint Retrospective
Mentoring, coaching, guiding fellow team members of the scrum team, DevOps guild and other Digital Integration members, especially on the topic of DevOps
Advising key stakeholders on Integration related issues - drive root cause analysis across the network, back-end systems and integration platforms
Our requirements
Bachelor/Master's degree, Technology Specialist (Engineer): in Computer Science, Telecom, Electronics or other related studies
Min 3 years of hands-on experience as DevOps engineer, min. 2 years Team lead level, experience, and 7+ years of IT experience
Technology experience for example: API Connect, Boomi, Solace, SAP CPI or similar
A strong technical background with experience in middleware solutions and hybrid integration landscapes
Experience with the multiple Integration platforms, such as ESP, iPaaS, API management, Event brokers, etc.
Experience with networking administration, close collaboration with global Cloud and Hosting team, and Global connectivity team
Troubleshooting problems with root causes in networking (connecting), hosting and deploying enterprise grade applications
Experience of working in a deadline driven environment with rapid and round the clock release cycles
Preferably experience with working in an Agile environment
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and in writing): ability to communicate well with technical and non-technical people
Analytically and quantitatively strong, highly structured
Is a team player and is able to work effectively at all levels of the product teams with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus
Be able to identify and understand multiple stakeholder perspectives and "truths" and bring an open mind to understanding and build on the views of others
Ability to work in teams and work dedicated for a team
