Your responsibilities
- This technical project lead is responsible for providing planning and coordination for established initiatives within the product line and interacts with the different global functional expertise groups. He or she ensures that projects are completed to specification, within an established time frame and budget.
- This person will become a subject matter expert within the product line regarding integration of NTI-technologies, first line of support and global standardization.
- Improve product line by structured development, based on customer input and global benchmarking.
- Typical projects, but not exclusive:
- Coordinate the development of calculation tools to improve efficiency & effectiveness in application engineering, supported by the design automation team in our hub in India.
- Explore and define the boundary conditions of the different designs.
- Integrate new items in portfolio.
- Enhance critical knowledge driven by electrification.
- Establish the engineering infrastructure around the product line.
Our requirements
- Key factors to be successful
- Master level of Mechanical Engineering (profile Mechanical Engineering, mechatronics)
- Minimum 3 years experience in leading technical project in automotive
- High level of technical skills, communication skills, analytical skills
- Very good level of English language
- Possibility for business travel (customer visits and other country company plant visits)
- Wellness to relocate to Silesia Region for the candidates from outside the region.
- Additional skill that are valuable for that position
- Good level of German Language
- Certified Green or Black Belt for 6 Sigma or similar problem solving tools
- Confirmed experience in problem solving based on one of automotive industry methodologies
- Awareness of the suspension systems, steering systems and vehicle dynamics
- Hobby related to automotive, mechanical engineering or electronics.
- experience in engineering team management (both operational and functional)
