    Senior Finance Accounting and Reporting Specialist in Master Data management Team: GFAR Krakow
    (Transition from Switzerland)

    Responsibility for Master Data Management Maintenance and Improvements in the CoCoA in a small team at the RFC in Krakow.This role includes the support of the clean-up of the internal audit findings and the accurate maintenance of the Zurich Common Operative Chart of Accounts. This includes the proper integration of outcomes of projects and initiatives, considering the needs of external and internal customers.


    Key Tasks & accountabilities:


    Chart of accounts management:

    • Manage Chart of accounts change request process independently
    • Support the clean-up of the internal audit findings related to the Chart of accounts
    • Introduce new governance and controls to the Chart of accounts process
    • Support Chart of accounts activities for SAP Convergence roll-ins and on-boarding’s
    • Transform projects into stable BAU mode
    • Support and coordination of the full range of other Chart of accounts activities
    • Support or lead strategic projects related to databases for master data management



    Jobholder should keep relationships with all 'internal' parties/depts. Impacted or involved in local and group Chart of accounts processes.


    Jobholder should keep and maintain relationships with BUs to improve the qualitative parts of the financial accounting/reporting due to impacts from the Chart of accounts management.


    Candidate’s profile:

    • University degree in business or accounting or other equivalent accounting qualification
    • 6-8 years of relevant work experience in accounting, audit, financial reporting or similar (ideally in the insurance sector)
    • Experience in reporting processes
    • Experience in insurance industry preferable
    • Experience on working in a multi-cultural environment
    • Strong knowledge on IFRS, any other GAAP is beneficial
    • Fluent in English,
    • Focus on collaboration
    • Excellent accounting skills
    • SAP FI/CO (GFC) experience
    • SAP BCS experience
    • Strong in communication skills to stakeholders globally (Accounting/IT)
    • Good Excel skills
    • Strong in data governance
    • Experience on a Data Management system is a plus
