Ensure that all financial transactions are completed in an accurate and timely manner. The tasks include:
Monthly accruals and prepayments
Monthly and quarterly reporting
Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and problem solving
Month-end close process management
Initiating and contributing to the improvements of processes
Support internal and external audits
Support implementation of SAP S/4 HANA
Master’s or bachelor’s degree in finance
3+ years of experience in financial accounting
Working knowledge of IFRS and J-SOX
ACCA or CIMA would be an asset
SAP knowledge would be an asset
Computer literate, MS Office, especially Excel
High level of accuracy / attention to detail
Practical, hands-on mentality, strong delivery attitude
Experience in multinational sector preferred

The purpose of this role is to perform financial accounting activities for European countries.
The role will be responsible for General Ledger accounting and month end close activities and ensuring its compliance with Accounting Policies, J-SOX and Internal Procedures.
The role will interact with Finance Managers, Hitachi Treasury Center, FP&A and Controllership teams, Finance Global Business Services teams, external and internal auditors.
The role is also responsible for identifying continuous improvement initiatives to drive process efficiency and effectiveness.
