Your responsibilities

  • Ensure that the finance and accounting records for the Herbalife Nutrition entities located in the Eastern Europe cluster are kept accurate and timely in line with company policies,

  • Liaise closely with local business and the EMEA regional finance team on all country financial issues,

  • Work efficiently, so the SLA’s can be met at least the customers’ expectations,

  • Timely and properly escalating of all issues to the management and internal customers,

  • Support the manager in preparation and running the periodic review meetings with stakeholders from respective countries and businesses,

  • Identify and flag the recurring performance problems and initiate improvement activities,

  • Work closely with the local Tax specialists ensuring that accurate and timely filing of company tax returns – corporate and income taxes, VAT, social security etc.,

  • Work closely with the local Accounting specialists to ensure Financial Statements reports meet Local Statutory Reporting requirements,

  • Reviews Inventory/Cost of Goods Sold calculations provide by the Inventory and Cost of Sales Centre of Excellence team.

Our requirements

  • Higher education in Accounting or Finance,

  • Professional (or near) qualification,

  • Experienced within Finance / Accounting in an International / Multi-national company, US parent advantageous (at least 2 years),

  • Experience liaising with Shared Services or Outsourcing Centre environment as well as working in a multicultural, international environment,

  • Understanding / Learning relevant regional accounting practices and the regulatory environment for the Herbalife Nutrition entities located in the UK, Netherlands and Nordic cluster,

  • Good all round knowledge of local corporate and income taxes, local GAAP and US GAAP,

  • MS Office knowledge,

  • Oracle (or the other ERP system) knowledge (at least 2 years),

  • Experience of Excel to an advanced level,

  • Very good command of English (fluent level),

  • Understanding of Dutch and or Nordic languages (advantageous),

  • Ability to communicate in a professional way with upper management, other departmental teams and finance professionals at all levels, both internally and externally,

  • Experience with process improvements,

  • Hybrid work (2 days/week in the Office).

About the role:

As a Senior Financial Analyst you will support the process of general ledger accounting and financial reporting (both US GAAP and Statutory) for the Herbalife Nutrition entities located in the Eastern Europe cluster. You will be responsible for accounting and fiscal activities that are in scope. You will also ensure that relevant books and records and subsequent reporting are delivered timely and accurately and conform with applicable accounting standards and company policies and procedures. You will act as a team subject matter expert, supports other team members and the business as required.
