Your responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing support and performance insights to the EMEA Flavour Solutions Commercial Finance Director including weekly flash, Opportunities & Risks reporting, operating profit variance analysis and reviews, daily sales and monthly reporting.

  • Provide ad-hoc support to Flavour Solutions Finance Director and his team.

  • Complete quarterly Corporate reporting requirements for Net Sales and Gross Profit drivers as well as quarterly EMEA Flavour Solutions customer, category, and NPD reporting.

  • Coordinate the EMEA LTP, Budget and Forecast processes for Balance Sheet and Cash Flow

  • Provide monthly reporting and analysis on key working capital and cash flow metrics for EMEA

  • Drive cash flow delivery and Cash Conversion Cycle improvements for EMEA

  • Provide monthly reporting insights in to FX impacts for EMEA and partner with Global Treasury team on queries. Provide monthly updates on FX opportunities and risks. Input FX hedge impacts into the forecasts.

  • Support the creation of EMEA tax forecasts and budget.

  • Coordinate the management all ‘Below Operating Profit’ items for forecasts and budget.

  • Partner and provide ad-hoc support to the EMEA FP&A Manager and EMEA FP&A Director.

  • Drive reporting improvements for EMEA using TM1 and Power BI Dashboarding and automation.

Our requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in finance required, preferably with FMCG experience – Commercial Finance and Supply Chain Finance experience highly desirable

  • Hands on P&L, Budgeting and forecasting experience desirable

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities required

  • Superior communication skills to ensure effective communication across the zone and at various levels of the McCormick organization

  • Excellent Excel modelling skills imperative

  • Experience in Power BI

  • Experience with transaction & reporting systems including, but not limited to Hyperion, SAP, Business Warehouse, TM1 or other local systems preferred.

  • Excellent organizational skills & ability to “plan for things to go well”

  • Potential leadership and relationship building skills

This role will support the provision of management information and standardized reporting for EMEA region finance teams and Corporate FP&A to provide qualitative insight to business performance. You will work closely with commercial and supply chain finance as well as COE Finance teams to provide performance insights including: P&L variance analysis from Net Sales to Operating Profit, opportunities and risks reporting, balance sheet, cash flow and FX reporting and forecasting. Additionally, you will also provide support to the EMEA Flavour Solutions Commercial Finance Director to ensure robust understanding of segment performance.
