Your responsibilities
Partners with the businesses to ensure that the targets for the account revenue, profit and cash are achieved. Gathers the financial data and performs financial analyses and reporting (e.g., profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow, pricing, etc.) to influence decisions within the business and to drive the growth of the account. Drives the forecasting and budgeting process (weekly, monthly, and long term) by analyzing trends within the businesses and ensuring alignment with business objectives. Delivers the numbers through the month-end close process by following Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the organization's financial goals and policies. Presents the financial results to the key stakeholders including Senior Leadership. Ensures strong business and management controls.
Key responsibilities:
• Performing the forecasting, budgeting, and the month-end close process
• Maintaining the relationship with the businesses to ensure the forecast accuracy
• Driving detailed expense analysis to improve the profitability of the account
• Supervising the work of the financial analysts on the account
• Partnering and offering financial advice to the Account Leadership
• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
• Preparation of any other ad-hoc requests that can assist management in the decision-making process
Our requirements
First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred)
Typically, 8+ years of experience as a financial analyst/ financial lead
Typically experienced in more than one finance function, team-leading experience being an asset
Superior communication and influencing skills
Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
Able to work independently and take initiative
Ability to work under pressure of time and manage stressful situations
International business exposure, working in a multi-cultural environment and global organization
Excellent team player in multi-country teams with very good interpersonal and communication skills
Fluent in English (verbal and written)
