Complex documentation review and remediation.
Providing quality assurance reviews of the work of other team members in line with agreed client standards.
Writing and delivering training to team members and working with less experienced colleagues on a day to day basis.
Writing, contributing to or reviewing negotiation guides (‘playbooks’) for each document set, including details of processes such as approvals to deviate from standard terms.
Engagement with our clients’ project teams, general counsel and business approvers and internal stakeholders; working with our clients’ external legal providers and other third-party service providers engaged on a project; running and overseeing direct negotiations with our clients’ counterparties.
Following standard operating procedures for proper storing of documentation on client systems, capturing approvals and inputting records of contract amendments.
Advising on questions relating to due diligence and contract execution.
Identifying new opportunities to improve the client negotiation processes & procedures and to further develop our long-term relationships.
Working with the Project Manager to provide subject matter expertise for a positive project conclusion.
Minimum of 5 years' experience of analysing, drafting, negotiating and advising on financial services documentation either within a law firm, as part of an in-house legal team or with an alternative legal services provider or similar.
A proven record of completing complex documentation within very tight time deadlines.
Strong knowledge of the financial services industry and, in particular, the current global LIBOR transition requirements. Particular knowledge in one or more of: derivatives and market transactions such as stock lending and repos; debt capital markets and structured finance transactions; bilateral and syndicated lending; trade finance; prime brokerage.
Ability to collaborate closely with stakeholders from different disciplines, and within a team.
Excellent attention to detail.
Regular client-facing experience.
Wide commercial awareness, working directly with business managers and the most challenging stakeholders.
Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite - especially Word, Excel and Power Point.
Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located.
Education – Law/Economics Degree or relevant background.

We’re looking for subject matter experts in the area of LIBOR Reform and the transition to new interest rates, reporting into our Wrocław Centre of Excellence. As a member of our team, you’ll be responsible for supporting a negotiation team concentrating on documentation solutions for our client across many different financial services products. Your role will the identification of LIBOR exposures in existing contracts and amendment of those exposures in line with client instructions and will include support to junior team members as well as providing training, drafting negotiation guides, client engagement and working closely with the project management group.
