    (Senior) Fund Accountant in NAV Team

    The Warsaw office was established in 2008 and comprises two business lines: a dynamically growing International Operations Centre (SSC) providing asset and fund services for a number of locations across Europe and local custody & clearing business offering broker-dealers, global custodians and investment banks a full local clearing, settlement and custody solution in Poland.

     

    For new activity within BNP Paribas Securities Services in Poland which is an exciting, dynamic and growing operation centre in Warsaw we are looking for candidates who are willing to be a vital part of the expansion in BNP Paribas’ operational scope in Poland

     

    As a part of our new NAV team you will take part in unique opportunity which is launching new activity in Warsaw office. You can gain new experience, widen your knowledge and skills in multinational environment and have a real impact on shape of the process.

     

    Due to acquisition of 3 new clients you will take part in process migration from Luxembourg to our Operational Centre in Warsaw. It will include 3-months training abroad.

     

    We are seeking over 15 professionals who would like to contribute to the dynamic growth of our company.

     

    We are interested both in Junior and Senior Fund Accountants. The level of the position will be adjusted individually basing on candidates’ professional experience.

    Your duties will include, but not be limited to:

     

     

    • Performing daily, weekly, monthly, and annual Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations for assigned group of funds, which includes reconciliation of capital stock and trade activity, review of corporate actions, monitoring cash and security reconciliations on a daily basis, and review/analysis of income and expenses
    • Ensuring NAV impact analysis and justification is performed properly
    • Ensuring NAV calculations are produced in a timely manner as per SLA
    • Identifying any issues with accounting records or fund activities
    • Preparing NAV packs and detailed reports on fund activities
    • Supporting the preparation of operating procedures for migrated processes
    • Carrying out ad-hoc duties that may arise from time to time, mainly on month-ends and year-ends
    • Delivering a quality service within the set KPI's
    • Identifying risks and promoting risk-mitigation processes
    • Contributing to process improvement activities
    • Timely completion of internal team management  information
    • Participating in internal and external audit requests
    • Working closely with the oversight team in Luxemburg
    • Interacting with internal departments on resolution of issues
    • Liaising with Clients
    • As a senior role, detailed review of NAV calculations
    • As a senior role, acting as a subject matter expert for operational fund accounting issues
    • As a senior role, attending service review calls as required
    • As a senior role, continuously improving the further development of Fund Accounting department

    We are looking for you if you:

     

    • University degree (preferred: Finance, Economics, etc.)
    • Min. 6 months of relevant experience (experience in Financial Services will be an advantage)
    • Have knowledge of Investment Fund Industry and Securities
    • Are fluent in English (French would be an advantage)
    • Have accurate analytical skills
    • Have proficient command of MS Office (very good knowledge of Excel)
    • Have excellent communication skills & ability to work effectively as a team player
    • Pay attention to quality

    • Have ability to work on holidays
