(Senior) General Ledger Accountant

your tasks

as GL Accountant you will be responsible for:

• performing activities related to the closing of the month and reporting in the corporate system
• analyzing and reconciliation of general ledger account balances
• preparing calculations and reconciliation of internal settlements 
• active collaboration with other SSC departments in overseeing the end-to-end process for the relevant General Ledger processes
• timely reporting financial data to the group and analysis
• preparing and updating procedures
• participating in migration and process improvement
• conducting the GL process in accordance with the month and year closing schedule
• preparing of financial documents in accordance with applicable regulations and local procedures.

as a Senior GL Accountant you will be responsible for:

• assisting on a wide array of routine to complex corporate accounting and financial reporting and other transactions
• preparing and record journal entries; post bank statements, perform Intercompany processes - prepare the BS accounts reconciliation
• ensuring financial statements, general ledgers and subsidiary accounts for multiple entities are prepared in accordance with applicable accounting standards
• preparing and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and/or statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash flow) for multiple entities
• controling interfaces between different systems, checking discrepancies, perform the reconciliation
• preparing VAT declaration, EU sales List, Intrastat
• checking inventory amounts, make adjustments and prepare final Inventory report
• performing job tasks and functions in accordance with company procedures and guideline
