Our client, a global company with a newly established SSC unit in Warsaw, is currently looking for an experienced Senior GL Accountant to join their team!

Our Client is an international bio-science company, with a new SSC unit in Warsaw, Poland. They are famous for their eco-friendly approach to business.

Description

• Collect, analyse and summarise accounting information
• Oversee accounting operations based on accounting principles
• Develop periodic reports for management
• Help with meeting statutory deadlines for publishing the financial statements
• Calculating taxes and preparing tax returns, balance sheet, profit & loss statement
• Responsible for managing fixed assets
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations such as fixed assets, prepaid costs, accrued payroll, accrued costs, provisions, deferred income, etc.
• Provide VAT reporting including SAT-F; reconciliation of VAT accounts & registers
• Keep up with financial policies, regulation and legislation
• Manages external and internal audits

Profile

• Higher Education in Finance and Accounting or any other related field
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office and SAP
• Fluency in English (verbal and written)
• Proven experience in the field of General Ledger Accounting
• Ability to work in a team and individually
• Self-reliance, ability to take the initiative
• Ability to make the right decisions when it comes to the company's functioning
