Senior General Ledger Accountant with English (6-months assignment in UK)

Your responsibilities

• This is an independent role in Local Finance Team in England (Stockport, Cheshire) with the ownership of the accuracy and correctness of the books for one of Oerlikon’s legal entity

• Supervision of complete accounting and reporting processes for the legal entity

• Perform accounting operations (Accounts Payables, General Accounting, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Intercompany, etc.) with high quality and efficiency (daily and Month End Close activities)

• Ensuring accounting rules are properly applied for both management and financial accounts in compliance with corporate standards and secures integrity of financial systems and the financial operating model, in accordance with financial procedures, external audit requirements and best accounting practice

• Responsibility for monthly Corporate Reporting Package (incl. Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Statement, FA table, Aging, etc.)

• Providing management information to LE management and business areas, participating in business review meetings

• Understanding and ensuring compliance with all relevant internal and external regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business for which responsibility is assigned

• Ensuring accuracy and data integrity in the end-to-end financial reporting process by ensuring compliance with the Internal Control System requirements

• Responding to queries from Operating Company, support Legal Entities and HQ on ad-hoc tasks
